Coding-first, hands-on robotics learning becomes far more engaging when students can see every line of logic turn into real movement. This programmable biped walking and dancing robot kit is built on a Nano CH340 main controller board (ATmega328P-AU) and supports two mainstream learning paths: Arduino C language coding for structured programming skills, and Mixly block-based graphical programming for beginners who want an intuitive start. By switching between Mixly visual logic and Arduino C code, learners can progress from “drag-and-drop” control to real syntax, functions, and debugging—ideal for STEM classrooms, robotics clubs, and home learning.
The robot uses 4 high-torque servos as articulated joints, allowing it to mimic biped steps and perform dance-style gait movements. Each servo acts like a joint, enabling flexible posture changes and coordinated actions, so learners can practice servo angle mapping, timing control, step sequences, and motion routines. The integrated ultrasonic module provides distance measurement and environmental awareness with a sensing range of 2 cm to 300 cm and a sensing angle under 15 degrees, supporting accurate obstacle detection and responsive behaviors. With programmed logic, the robot can automatically avoid obstacles by judging distance values and turning away, and it can also run an ultrasonic follow mode that tracks a target based on measured distance for interactive demos.
Bluetooth connectivity adds a second layer of interaction. Through a mobile Bluetooth app (Android and iOS), users can connect to the robot wirelessly and control movement in real time, or combine app commands with coded behaviors to test and compare manual control vs autonomous logic. This workflow is excellent for teaching input/output thinking: sensors as input, code as decision-making, servos as output.
For hardware learning, the Nano CH340 platform offers clear, widely used microcontroller specifications: 5V operating voltage, recommended input power of DC 7–12V (provided via two 18650 batteries in series), and stable performance for classroom experiments. The board includes 14 digital I/O pins (D0–D13) with 6 PWM outputs, 6 PWM pins (D3, D5, D6, D9, D10, D11), and 8 analog inputs (A0–A7). Each I/O pin supports up to 40 mA, and the microcontroller features 32 KB flash memory (with 2 KB used by the bootloader), 2 KB SRAM, 1 KB EEPROM, a 16 MHz clock, and the onboard LED on D13—perfect for teaching basic electronics, PWM control, sensor reading, and servo driving. The kit is rated with output current up to 1.5A and power dissipation up to 32W under typical operation. Power is supplied by a dual 18650 battery setup (DC 7–12V), with an indicated runtime of about 4 hours depending on usage patterns.
The packaging size is 201 × 130 × 79 mm and the packaged weight is about 544.4 g. Due to manual measurement, dimensions may vary by 1–3 cm. As this product involves electronics, wiring, and programming with moving mechanical parts, guided use under a teacher or experienced adult is recommended—especially for beginners—to ensure correct assembly, safe operation, and effective learning outcomes.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
